Beaches Turks and Caicos

The resort, recognized as the best all-inclusive family resort in the Caribbean, is situated in a breathtaking location. The Beaches Turks and Caicos resort was recently awarded the world’s best beach by TripAdvisor’s Traveler’s Choice Awards. Having an exciting play structure amenity right next to the world’s best beach is an added advantage.

The project required a flow rate of over 1500 GPM of treated water. The first challenge was the limited space available, surrounded by a lazy river, existing piping, and concrete work. The second challenge was to design a filtration system with mechanical components that fit into the given space while keeping existing features up and running. Cloward H2O successfully devised a plan to work within the limited parameters and created a design that included a new filtration system while utilizing existing equipment to reduce costs and time.

scope

Cloward H2O, was responsible for engineering a new splash deck at the Beaches Turk & Caicos resort. Although the project appeared to be straightforward, it came with some challenges that needed to be overcome. Cloward H2O collaborated with EDSA and BCQS International Construction to redesign an area of the existing waterpark. However, the team faced tight schedules and space constraints, which limited the placement of new equipment and pipes.
