PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Madinat Jumeirah is the latest luxury resort by hotelier Jumeirah International located along the coast of Jumeirah in Dubai, on the Arabian Gulf. At 940 rooms, Madinat is one of the largest resorts in the region. Included in the resort is a souk-style retail complex, a 9,000-square meter conference facility, a Six Senses Spa with 30 treatment rooms, and more than forty restaurants, bars, and cafes.

PROJECT SCOPE
Cloward H2O was responsible for the engineering design of a 3.5 kilometer salt water waterway system which interconnects all areas of the resort and utilizes thirty Abras (traditional Arabian boats used for fishing and conveyance) to transport visitors. Cloward H2O provided design and construction documentation for the waterway, the Al Qsar hotel pool, children's pool, six villa pools, the Al Salaam hotel pool, entry fountains at the Al Qsar hotel, and other various water features throughout the property.
