PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Scientific Center is the largest aquarium to be built in the Middle East and serves as a center of excellence for environmental education in the Arabian Gulf region. The Center integrates the aquarium, a 250 seat IMAX film theater, a restaurant, gift shop, and the 2000 square meter Dhow Harbor which displays seven historic shows.

PROJECT SCOPE
Cloward H2O prepared design and construction documents for the indoor aquarium facility for both freshwater and salt-water fishes of the Red Sea and Arabian Gulf regions. Responsibilities included design of all tanks, pools and aquatic life support systems for the entire aquarium facility.
